The Procarist forklift driver competition took place October 7, 2011
As every year since 2008, the Procarist training center has organised its forklift driver competition. The competition tasks allow to choose the best material handling equipment operator, while simultaneously funding the organization's social projects.
As every year since 2008, the Procarist training center has organised its forklift driver competition. The competition tasks allow to choose the best material handling equipment operator, while simultaneously funding the organization's social projects.
A competition for the CACES holders
The forklift driver competitions are for professionnals only! To take part in the competition, one has to possess a Certificate of aptitude in safe driving (CACES): level 3 for front loaders, lever 4 for side loaders.
The forklift driving tests
This year, 40 candidates competed against each other. In the course of the competition, they had to show their ability to operate a forklift, to store and warehouse goods, all in compliance with the current safety rules. The most impressive part of the competion: serving coffee to jury members by using a forklift!
All proceeds from the competition will be donated to the sheltered employment centre to carry out its social projects.
